Hi Family and Friends, What a joy to see my wife walking down the ramp at the airport in Columbia. She looked beautiful! I'm a blessed man...
Here we are in front of the State Capital in Columbia...
After picking Christina up at the airport we took a tour of Ft. Jackson, shopped at the PX for a few things for the kids, met a friend, dropped off luggage, grabbed dinner (fried green tomatoes, sweet tea, cheddar grits...) and took a walk around the State Capital. The trees and flowers are beautiful down here, the air is thick and muggy, and the bugs are overwhelming at times...
Herbie and Allie are best friends...at last check they were doing fine at Grandma and Grandpa's house...
We leave tomorrow morning for Hilton Head and we're both excited to see more of South Carolina and the beach. All the best...

Congratulations on your progress. I'm sure no one is tougher on you than yourself. (That's a trait of perfectionists like us!) It is good that you have such a good support group with you. You can be sure the support group on the home front prays for you regularly.
