Happy 4th of July! The class had a "mandatory" fun day at Wesson Lake to celebrate our country's independence. The weather was beautiful and everyone seemed to be in a good mood. Many of the soldiers had families here for the picnic and it was great to see and meet the wives and children of the men I've grown to love. I truly wish I had Christina, Herbie, and Allie here to show off!

Daddy, we miss you terribly! We love being a family (now 6 kids might be a little much for me?!?!?!) The only reason is I don't know how to drive a van that big! We are counting down the days till we can have you home with us! We love you!
Glad to see that you had a day off for the fourth. Looks like everyone had a great day! We enjoyed the weekend with Herbie and Allie (although Allie didn't feel too good most of it). She would just sit on our lap all day.
We enjoy reading your blog and are really proud of your and Christina's direction and devotion.
Well, your are over the hump now and we are certainly looking forward to when you return home.
Love, Dad N
