Since I'm so bummed over my missing pictures from drill this weekend I wanted to share this picture my mom sent over...Amazing!
This picture was taken in 1918. It is 18,000 men preparing for war in a training camp at Camp Dodge in Iowa. A gift from our grandfathers and great-grandfathers. And a reminder why we are giving our son his name...

Your drill sounds great. . . making me think about going guard instead of usar. Dang Dave! First ECA, now the guard. You are brainwashing me! Anyways, you can put me back on your blog list, since i updated it this weekend.
Hi Nagels,
Kelly here in Iowa just checking in. I miss you all so much. It is fun staying in touch via you sites and seeing all the fun pictures. I wish we could live closer and be able to visit. Well, just wanted to say hi and wish you all the best as you anticipate the arrival of your third little one. Love you all1!
