The New Boots

We were shopping in Target today when Herbie said, "Mom, I want these shoes". Of course, they were lightening McQueen, but when I turned to look at him, he was in the process of taking his sandles off and putting on.....Yes, large, red, Lightening McQueen Rain Boots. He put them on by himself (wrong feet), and walked proud! He is the shopper to usually change his mind in about 5 seconds and throw his "future purchase" down in anger when he finds something new and more exciting. Not today....the boots are on to stay. So he walked around Target in his summer t-shirt and blue shorts with his knee high, bright red, rainboots. The story did not end there....he had to get his sister some too. They are twins - he never forgets her and she always gets one of what he gets. So, she too has arrived home with pink, cat rain boots. (sorry Bowman, there were none your size :( )
