What a great trip we had to Vail! The conference was focused on Family Programs and Christina and I learned a lot. Christina has stepped forward to become the family readiness group leader for the battalion. (FRGL) This is a big job, as she will be the key point of contact for the 400 families in our battalion when we deploy to war. I'm really proud of her!
I got to preach for chapel and the State Chaplain led worship and the rest of the service. The Lord was really present...there was a sweet spirit in the place...we even had to get more chairs for all who showed up to worship. The 2 Star General and his wife and a 1 Star General and his wife came to worship. I'm really thankful Colorado has Godly men in leadership...it is amazing!
