Fear Not...

Sometimes I lay in bed at night and think to myself: "David do you realize that you left a wonderful, safe, and loving church to become a chaplain while our nation is at War? What are you doing????" Despite those moments of fear I believe the Lord is leading me to trust him in this season of life.

While being in the National Guard is no guarantee I'll see active duty time as a chaplain I need to be more focused in my prayer for the men and women serving in harm's way. I'd appreciate your prayers as well as I try to be an example of Christ to the troops I interact with.

Here is a short article that will describe the ministry of the chaplaincy better:

Please be praying for a muscle strain I experienced yesterday. I only have nine days until I leave. Every day of training is soooo important. I'm using ice and rest to be back running tomorrow I hope...

Blessings and Have a Great Day!
