Memorial Day...Remember...

WWII - 12 Million people signed up to serve our nation = Almost 11% of Total Population.

Today - 1.2 Million people make up our entire Active Duty, Reserve and Guard = 1/2 of 1%

Over 1 Million have died in our nation's history in defense of freedom. (Including my Great Uncle Joe Bowman, a 20 year old from a small town in Wyoming who died on the first day of WWII while driving an ambulance to help the wounded.)

Please Pray for those in harm's way and for the innocent civilians affected by violence in our world. This year make Memorial Day more than a four day weekend!

Someday the prophecy of Isaiah 2:4 will come true:

4 He will judge between the nations
and will settle disputes for many peoples.
They will beat their swords into plowshares
and their spears into pruning hooks.
Nation will not take up sword against nation,
nor will they train for war anymore.
